Kate Caton, LCSW, PMH-C
Outpatient Therapist
Kate (she/her) is a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has a certificate in Perinatal Mental Health. She supports individuals in their healing journeys, creating a space for compassionate, non-judgmental conversation. Her focus is helping folks explore shifts in parenthood whether that is becoming a new parent, “empty nester” or struggling to achieve parenthood of your desire (natural conception, fertility-assisted conception, adoption, surrogacy). As a fertility clinic patient and parent, Kate has been there in the nitty gritty reality and brings this element of experience into her therapeutic practice.
Kate draws on elements of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Compassionate-Focused Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy with an emphasis on trauma-informed care. Her goal is to help clients develop skills and tools to navigate through life hardships.
Kate is a parent to 2 small children and caregiver to a geriatric dog and cat. Kate enjoys exploring the outdoors (which, let's be real, that's a playground most often these days) with her husband and kiddos. She has also recently re-ignited her love of libraries and reading, as her tiny humans allow.
