Understanding the challenges of the journey to parenthood, Oona-Ifé advocates for creating safe and supportive spaces for all parents. She is committed to supporting the wellness of parents so they can fully engage with their children and themselves. Oona-Ifé's therapeutic approach is grounded in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and systems frameworks. She strives to establish an environment that prioritizes client autonomy, devoid of judgment and shame, and affirms the inherent worthiness of every aspect of her clients. Incorporating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), she adopts a strength-based perspective.

Having moved to the Triad in 2019, Oona-Ifé and her husband recently welcomed their first child in early 2022. To find balance, she enjoys spending time outdoors with friends, family, and her energetic dog, indulging in movies, laughter, travel, and engaging in gentle movement through yoga or walking.
