Kathy draws from evidence-based approaches including ACT, DBT, ERP, attachment theory, and somatic models of therapy. She is LGBTQ+ affirming, weight-inclusive, and strives to be a life-long learner when it comes to the lived experiences of marginalized people. A survivor of recurrent miscarriage and postpartum anxiety herself, Kathy spends her free time visiting area parks with her four year old, listening to podcasts of all varieties, and walking in the woods.
